ORDERS & DELIVERY

For orders under €49, shipping costs are €3.50. *

All orders of €49 or more are shipped for free, with the exception of packages that do not fit through the letterbox.

Madaq bonbons are handmade, using the finest ingredients of natural origin. Our products are carefully packaged and shipped.

If you order before 12:00, your order will be handed over to the delivery service the same day. You can expect your order the next business day between 09:00 and 18:00. As soon as your order has been shipped, you will receive a track & trace code to follow your order. Please note that during public holidays it may take longer.

If you order after 12:00 on Friday, your package will be handed over to the delivery service on Monday. You can expect your package on Tuesday between 09:00 and 18:00.

If your order has not been delivered within one business day of placing it, please email us and we will assist you immediately.

If you have made a mistake in your order or entered the wrong address, it is important to act quickly due to our next-day delivery service.

If you have placed an order that will be shipped the same day and you discover an error in the order, please contact us by phone as soon as possible. This is the fastest way to report any changes before your package is shipped.

Sure! You can choose to have your order shipped within Europe to countries such as Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden for €8.50. For international shipping to countries such as United Arab Emirates, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Hong Kong SAR, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore and the United States the costs are €19.95. You will receive a track and trace code with which you can track when your package is shipped and when you can expect it.

Please note that chocolate is very delicate and during the shipping process the quality can be affected. For international shipping, shipping at temperatures above 23 degrees Celsius is not possible due to the long shipping time.

Yes, you can! At the moment we do not have a specific function to choose a shipping date during the ordering process. The best thing to do is to contact us by phone immediately after your order (before 12:00) or send an email to service@madaq.com with your full name, order number and the desired shipping date. We will do our best to fulfill your request. Information about the delivery time can be found above under the question: "What is the delivery time?"

MADAQ in summer

At temperatures of 23°C or higher, the weather can affect the quality of our products. To always ensure the best experience with our products and services, we offer a special shipping option*.

When you place your products in the shopping cart, you have the option to add a cooling element at checkout. This will ensure that your package is sent cooled. Please note that your package will no longer fit through the letterbox and an additional cost of €6.50 will be charged.

If you choose the normal shipping option, this may mean that we decide to ship your order at a later time when the weather conditions are more favorable.

We aim to ship your order as soon as possible, without compromising on quality. You will receive a notification once your order is on its way to the address you provided.

*Please note: During periods of prolonged heat, shipping with a cooling pack is the only option.

Yes, you can. During periods of persistent heat in the Netherlands, we only offer the option to ship your order with a cooling element.

We do this to ensure that you always have the best experience with our products, as temperatures of 23°C or higher can affect quality.

When placing your products in the shopping cart, you can only choose to add a cooling element at checkout. This will ensure that your package is sent cooled.

Please note that the package will no longer fit through the letterbox and that the total shipping costs will be €6.50. If you place an order above €49,- your package will automatically be sent with a cooling element.

To best preserve chocolate during the summer months, it is important to pay extra attention to the temperature. Since chocolate is sensitive to heat, we recommend that you read the following carefully.

To preserve Madaq chocolate at its best, we recommend storing it in a cool, dry place at a constant temperature between 15°C and 18°C. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, humidity and strong odours, as chocolate is sensitive to these factors.

It is also important to store the chocolate airtight, for example in a well-sealed container or in the original packaging. These careful storage conditions allow you to optimally enjoy the taste and quality of our chocolate.

We also ship within the EU with cooling elements. Orders cost €8.50.

Absolutely! At Madaq we offer a selection of 8 refined ice cream and sorbet flavours, 4 of which are vegan. Our ice cream creations are carefully composed based on the delicious flavours you know from our bonbons. This way you can enjoy your favourite flavour even during the summer. Please note that our customer service is available Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Emails received after 5pm will be dealt with the following day. Over the weekend, emails will be dealt with on Monday morning.

QUALITY

The shelf life of Madaq chocolate varies depending on the type and specific variant. Our products are freshly made with natural ingredients, which plays an important role in the shelf life.

In general, our chocolate products have a shelf life of approximately 1 month . However, it is important to consult the specific product label for exact shelf life information.

To maintain optimum quality, we recommend storing the chocolate in a cool, dry place and protecting it from direct sunlight and strong odours.

No, we do not use alcohol or gelatin in our products. We strive to make our chocolate accessible to everyone.

In addition, our bonbons are inspired by flavours from the rich Berber culture. We combine carefully selected ingredients to create unique and delicious flavour combinations that pay homage to the culinary traditions of the Berber community.

We attach great importance to transparency and providing information about allergens and ingredients. You can find the allergen and ingredient information on our packaging. We clearly state the ingredients used and any allergens that are present in our products.

Chocolate can turn white due to various factors such as temperature changes, humidity and long-term storage. Chocolate that has turned white is still edible, although the texture and appearance may be affected. To ensure quality, we recommend that you follow our storage instructions and respect the best-before date.

Chocolate can turn white due to blooming, caused by factors such as temperature changes, humidity, and long-term storage. This can result in white spots on the chocolate, but it is still safe to eat. Chocolate that has turned white due to blooming is still edible; although the texture and appearance may be affected, the flavor is still there.

To maintain the quality of chocolate, it is important to respect the best before date on the packaging and to store the chocolate properly (see FAQ question above).

At Madaq, "100% natural origin" means that all our ingredients are of completely natural origin, without the addition of artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. We believe in preserving the purity of our products and strive to provide the most natural taste experience.

To recycle and process your Madaq boxes and packaging in the right way, you can put the cardboard material (including the product booklet) completely in the paper waste. The cardboard can be recycled without any problems.

The only part that should not be in the cardboard is the plastic tray in which the chocolates are placed. This belongs in the plastic waste.

If you have chosen shipping including a cooling pack, we recommend that you put the plastic sleeve (which is around your box) in the plastic waste.

The cooling element itself can be reused for other purposes. In this way, we can contribute together to a more sustainable waste processing and reducing our impact on the environment.
